Divinol Multimax Truck Plus 10W-40 (Art-Nr. 49770) is a higher-viscosity diesel engine oil produced on HC synthesis (hydrocracked) base stocks, with a low content of sulfated ash, phosphorus and sulfur — a low-SAPS formulation. The low-SAPS chemistry is what makes the oil compatible with diesel particulate filters and SCR catalysts: ash-forming additives would otherwise block the filter and shorten its service life. Combined with the HC synthesis base oil, this gives good oxidation and shear stability, which supports the extended drain intervals used in modern long-haul operation.
