• Fuel efficiency: passes the VW fuel-economy test PV 1451 and the ACEA test MB M111FE (CEC-L-54-T-96) with a minimum 2.5% improvement (average of three results).
• Volkswagen-specific tests: passes the VW PV 1449 (T4) viscosity-increase and piston-deposit test, the VW PV1452 (TDI) ring-sticking test.
