Mobil Delvac Modern 10W-30 Full Protection is a high-performance, synthetic-technology diesel engine oil developed to extend engine life in the most severe on- and off-highway applications. Formulated with Trimer additive technology and a mixed detergent system, it targets modern, high-output, low-emission engines equipped with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and aftertreatment systems using Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) and Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC), while remaining fully backwards compatible with older conventional engines. It is recommended by ExxonMobil for on-highway heavy-duty trucking, mixed fleets, and off-highway construction, mining, quarrying and agricultural equipment from American, European and Japanese OEMs, and is biodiesel compatible. Key benefits include superior soot-viscosity control, outstanding thermal and oxidative stability, excellent oil consumption control, strong TBN reserves for extended drain intervals, stay-in-grade shear stability, and excellent low-temperature pumpability. The oil meets or exceeds API CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 PLUS and CH-4 diesel categories as well as API SN for gasoline engines, and carries approvals including Mack EO-O Premium Plus, MACK EOS-4.5, RENAULT TRUCKS RLD-3, VOLVO VDS-4.5 and Cummins CES 20086/20081.
