Mobil Delvac Legend 15W-40 CNG/LNG is a premium fleet engine oil specifically formulated to provide reliable protection for trucks and buses running on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). Built from high-quality base stocks and a balanced additive system, its advanced medium-ash formulation delivers excellent oxidation, nitration and thermal stability to minimise combustion chamber ash deposits, lubricating with less varnish, sludge and carbon build-up under the most severe operating conditions. ExxonMobil recommends it for spark-ignited CNG and LNG-fuelled lean-burn engines, dual-fuel engines using diesel for start-up and a 15% diesel pilot with CNG/LNG, and on-highway light and heavy-duty trucks and buses. Key benefits include high thermal and oxidation stability that controls sludge build-up and deposits, reserve TBN that neutralises oxy-acids and nitrates to reduce deposits, shear stability that reduces oil consumption while protecting bearings and cylinder liners from scuffing, effective detergency/dispersancy that keeps engines cleaner, and low zinc and phosphorus levels that help extend catalytic converter life. The product is recommended for applications requiring Cummins CES 20074. It is an SAE 15W-40 grade with sulfated ash 0.5 mass%, viscosity 14.6 mm²/s at 100°C, TBN 5.6 mgKOH/g and pour point -27°C.
