Mobil SHC Cibus 32 (ISO VG 32) is one of the Mobil SHC Cibus™ Series lubricants, which are outstanding-performance hydraulic, compressor, gear and bearing oils formulated from FDA- and NSF-registered hydrocarbon base fluids and additives for the food and beverage processing and packaging industries. Their naturally high viscosity index combined with a proprietary additive system delivers strong performance across high and low temperatures, high loading and areas of frequent wash-down, well beyond typical mineral oils. The series is NSF H1 registered and complies with Title 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental food contact, is manufactured at ISO 22000-certified facilities that also meet ISO 21469 requirements, and is suitable for Kosher and Halal use, being free of animal-derived materials and nut, wheat and gluten allergens. Low traction coefficients reduce fluid friction and operating temperatures, and validated field and laboratory testing has shown energy savings of up to 3.6% in gear applications and 3.5% in hydraulic applications versus conventional oils, alongside excellent wear protection, oxidation stability, rust/corrosion resistance and seal compatibility. Mobil SHC Cibus 32 has a kinematic viscosity of 30.7 mm²/s at 40 °C and 5.8 mm²/s at 100 °C, with a viscosity index of 134. It meets or exceeds DIN 51524-2 (HLP), DIN 51506 VDL and the Eaton 35VQ25 pump test requirements, and is intended for hydraulic, circulating, compressor and vacuum pump applications.
