Mobil SHC Cibus™ 32 HT is a fully synthetic, high-performance heat transfer oil for closed, indirect heating installations where an NSF H1-registered lubricant is required. It is formulated to resist thermal cracking and chemical oxidation, translating into longer service life and a lower tendency toward deposit and sludge formation, while its low viscosity provides good fluidity and easier start-up at cold ambient temperatures. The oil is engineered for good heat transfer properties — specific heat and high thermal conductivity — that support rapid heat dissipation and improved system efficiency, while its low volatility can mean lower consumption. Mobil SHC Cibus 32 HT is NSF H1 registered and accepted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, making it suitable where incidental food contact may occur; it is manufactured at ISO 22000-certified facilities also meeting ISO 21469 requirements, is suitable under Kosher (Parve) and Halal dietary law, and is formulated free of nuts, gluten, wheat and animal products. It meets the DIN 51522 heat transfer fluid requirements. Typical applications include closed heating and cooling systems across food processing operations such as meat, fish and beverage processing, ready-to-eat and convenience foods, and animal food production, with a maximum recommended bulk operating temperature of 280°C.
