Shell Tonna S3 M 32 (ISO VG 32, 32 mm²/s at 40 °C) is specially designed for lubricating machine-tool slideways and ways, tables and feed mechanisms. Improved adhesion and stick-slip characteristics combine to deliver superior frictional performance for slideways. As a lower viscosity grade, it is intended for horizontal slideways and is particularly recommended where low-speed, high-precision machines are used, as well as in combined lubrication systems with machine-tool hydraulics.
