Mobilgrease XTC is a premium, high-performance lithium complex grease (NLGI 1) developed specifically for high-speed coupling applications. It is formulated to provide low oil bleed together with high-temperature stability — properties critical to modern coupling lubrication — while its heavy-duty additive package reduces friction and wear from sliding tooth contact and provides rust and corrosion protection. ExxonMobil formulated Mobilgrease XTC to meet or exceed the requirements of modern high-speed gear and grid coupling designs, including AGMA Type CG-3 (high-torque, high-misalignment spindle couplings), CG-2 (high-speed flexible gear and grid couplings), and the less demanding CG-1. It maintains excellent performance up to 120°C ambient temperature and is not recommended below -30°C; because of its high viscosity and adhesive character, hand grease guns should not be used at low ambient temperatures without auxiliary heat. Typical applications include grid-type and gear-type flexible couplings across a broad range of industries. Applications

• Because Mobilgrease XTC is highly viscous and contains adhesive agents to meet coupling demands, hand-operated grease guns are not recommended at low ambient temperatures without auxiliary heat.
• Fully meets AGMA Type CG-3 requirements for high-torque, high-misalignment spindle couplings, and AGMA Type CG-2 requirements for high-speed flexible gear and grid couplings; also meets the less demanding AGMA Type CG-1 requirements.
• Maintains its performance characteristics at ambient temperatures up to 120 °C; not recommended below −30 °C.
