Eni Grease LC 1 is a special multipurpose grease formulated with a lithium complex soap and anti-rust, antioxidant and EP (extreme pressure) additives. Characterised by a high dropping point and good stability, Eni Grease LC 1 is recommended in the metallurgical industry for lubricating bearings subject to high operating temperatures — ingot guideways, rolling mill roll bearings. It is also used for lubricating bearings and other machine parts working under severe conditions (joints, the bearings of rolling mills and papermaking plant, plain and rolling bearings exposed to water washing), under high and shock mechanical loads, across a wide temperature range from -20 °C to +150 °C.

Applications

• Designed for lubricating bearings operating at high temperatures in the steel industry (roller pathways for slabbing, oven-outlet roller ways of continuous casting lines).
• Suitable for lubricating bearings and other components subject to heavy loads, shocks and vibrations (e.g. paper-mill joints and bearings, rolling-mill bearings) exposed to water washout and operating across a wide temperature range (peaks up to +150°C).
• Suitable for centralized grease systems, such as those used on rolling mills and the slideways of hot-forming presses.
