Manufacturer's description

The eni Grease LCX products are top-tier greases, formulated to meet the most severe lubrication demands across several industries: wind power, metallurgy, cement plants, paper machines and glassworks. eni Grease LCX 2/100 is an anti-wear grease of NLGI 2 consistency, formulated with a special ISO VG 100 synthetic base oil. It is recommended in particular for lubricating bearings and components running at high speeds, such as the electric motors for which long relubrication intervals are required. It is recommended for lubricating wind turbine generators. Recommended temperature range: -40 °C / +160 °C.

Applications

  • Particularly suitable for lubricating bearings and parts operating at high speeds and requiring long lubrication intervals, as in electric motors.
  • Also indicated for lubricating components operating at low temperatures, such as wind-turbine generators.

Performance & benefits

  • Suitable for high- and low-temperature applications thanks to the synthetic base and very high dropping point
  • Extends service life and relubrication intervals, even under strong mechanical and thermal stress
  • Excellent adhesiveness and water washout resistance; usable in humid environments and in the presence of water
  • Good load resistance
  • High anti-rust and anti-corrosion protection, compatible with all metals, ferrous and non-ferrous
