The eni Grease LCX products are top-tier greases, formulated to meet the most severe lubrication demands across several industries: wind power, metallurgy, cement plants, paper machines and glassworks. eni Grease LCX 1.5/460 is an EP grease of NLGI 1.5 consistency, formulated with a special ISO VG 460 synthetic base oil. It is recommended in particular for lubricating gears running at low speeds and high loads, in wet environments and at high temperatures, as in the steel and papermaking industries. It is also recommended for the yaw and pitch bearings of wind turbines and for tunnel boring machines (TBM). Recommended temperature range: -40 °C / +180 °C.

Applications

• Suitable for slow-speed reducers operating in humid environments with high loads and high temperatures, such as in the steel, paper and glass industries.
• Suitable for lubricating main shaft bearings and the bearings that regulate blade pitch and yaw on wind turbines.
• Suitable for lubricating excavators and tunnel boring machines (TBM).
