Mobil 1 ESP x4 0W-40 is an advanced synthetic technology engine oil developed by ExxonMobil within its more than 25-year collaboration with Porsche AG. It is engineered to prolong the life of new-generation gasoline-powered European vehicles and is recommended for high-performance gasoline or diesel engines fitted with GPF or DPF particulate filters, and for selected gasoline engines without a GPF. The product is particularly suited to modern Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Porsche high-power engines calling for A40, C40, VW 511 00 or MB 229.52 specifications. It is not suitable for Porsche vehicles requiring a C20, C30 or C40 GT approved oil — for GT engines, ExxonMobil offers Mobil 1 C40 GT 0W-40 instead. Made from a proprietary blend of leading-edge components fully compatible with the latest GPF systems, Mobil 1 ESP x4 0W-40 provides active cleaning agents for sludge control, outstanding thermal and oxidation stability, enhanced frictional properties for fuel economy, excellent low-temperature start-up protection and high-temperature oil-film resistance for outstanding wear protection. It holds Porsche C40 and A40, VW 511 00, MB-Approval 229.52/229.51 and GM dexosR approvals, and meets API SP, API SQ and ACEA C3.

Applications

• Recommended for high-performance gasoline or diesel engines equipped with GPF or DPF (particulate filters) and selected gasoline engines without GPF.
• Particularly recommended in modern high-power Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Mercedes AMG and Porsche engines calling for A40/C40/VW 511 00/MB 229.52 oil specifications.
• Not suitable for Porsche vehicles requiring a C20, C30 or C40 GT approved Mobil 1 engine oil; cannot be used in Porsche GT engines — a separate Mobil 1 product, Mobil 1 C40 GT 0W-40, exists for GT engines.
