Manufacturer's description

Eni i-Sint tech VK 0W-20 is a very high performance top synthetic lubricant, approved by the Volkswagen group for use on gasoline and diesel cars that require an oil meeting the VW 508 00 and VW 509 00 specifications (so-called VW Blue Oil). Eni i-Sint tech VK 0W-20 delivers significant benefits in fuel economy and long drain intervals, in line with the manufacturer's recommendations. Eni i-Sint tech VK 0W-20 can also be used in engines that require a 0W-20 oil meeting the ACEA A1/B1 requirements.

Applications

  • Volkswagen Group gasoline and Diesel cars requiring an oil meeting the VW 508 00 and VW 509 00 specifications (VW Blue Oil), as a very high-performance top-synthetic lubricant.
  • Engines requiring a 0W-20 oil meeting the ACEA A1/B1 requirements.

Performance & benefits

  • Ensures significant benefits in terms of fuel economy and long drain intervals (in line with manufacturer recommendations).
  • The particular mix of very high-quality base oils and specially designed additives ensures excellent performance in the latest-generation 2.0 TFSI gasoline (140 kW/190 HP) and 3.0 TDI CR Diesel (160 kW/217 HP) engines.
  • These engines operate under greater stress and higher temperatures.
  • Its typical greenish colour helps identify the specific models for which it was developed; it is not compatible with previous-generation Volkswagen Group engines.
  • Its particular SAE viscosity grade and very low HTHS viscosity achieve considerable fuel savings, in line with the strict fuel-economy requirements of the VW 508 00 and VW 509 00 specifications.
  • Maintains its performance throughout its service life, ensuring excellent engine protection and allowing the maximum oil-drain intervals prescribed by manufacturers to be reached.
  • Its low ash content makes it compatible with modern exhaust-aftertreatment systems.
  • Has very high thermo-oxidative stability and prevents the formation of lacquer and deposits on cylinders, pistons, valves and turbochargers.
