It is suitable for use in many conventional automatic transmissions, power steering and hydraulic systems of passenger cars, alongside commercial vehicles and off-highway construction equipment requiring GM DEXRON-III level of performance, and it also meets the JASO M315-2013 1A and 2A standards recognised by Japanese OEMs for use in automatic transmissions. Benefits include enhanced anti-wear and gear protection to extend component durability, good thermal and oxidation stability at high temperature for prolonged oil life, smooth shudder-free shift performance under normal and severe operating conditions, and good low-temperature fluid flow performance.
