Manufacturer's description

Eni Rotra ATF II E is a high performance synthetic lubricant, formulated specifically for the most modern automatic transmissions of commercial and passenger vehicles. In line with the manufacturers' specifications, an extended drain interval can be adopted for certain transmissions. It is used for the first fill of the highest performing automatic transmissions and power steering systems built by makers who specify GM DEXRON II E type products.

Applications

  • High-performance synthetic-technology lubricant formulated for the most modern automatic transmissions fitted in cars and commercial vehicles.
  • Durable performance allows a considerable extension of fluid-change intervals in many applications.
  • Suitable for first fill and top-up of automatic and hydraulic transmissions where the manufacturer prescribes GM DEXRON II E-type fluids.

Performance & benefits

  • A synthetic base ensures superior thermal stability and exceptional resistance to high operating temperatures.
  • A well-balanced formulation allows comfortable, quiet gear changes while ensuring the best transmission performance.
  • Excellent oxidation stability minimizes deterioration of the oil's characteristics.
  • Ensures excellent cleaning of all lubricated parts, giving excellent service-life characteristics.
  • Free of components corrosive to steel and copper and, in general, to ferrous and non-ferrous alloys.
  • Antifoam qualities strongly reduce the tendency to foam, which would otherwise cause uneven oil circulation in the automatic gearbox.
  • Perfectly compatible with all types of gaskets used in automatic transmissions.
  • Perfectly compatible with mineral automatic-transmission oils, so residues left over when switching from a mineral product cause no problems.
  • Suitable for use where the manufacturer requires a ZF TE-ML 14C performance level.
  • Also complies with the requirements of the now-obsolete ZF TE-ML 16L and 16R performance levels.
  • Suitable for applications where manufacturer Daimler Truck requires the DTFR 13C170 performance claim.
