Teresstic T 68 is part of ExxonMobil's Teresstic T 32-100 range of high quality turbine and circulating system oils, in ISO VG 68, formulated with carefully selected base stocks and effective additives, including antioxidants, rust and corrosion inhibitors and anti-foam agents. It is designed for circulating systems exposed to moderately high temperatures and requiring long service life, land-based and marine steam turbines, light duty industrial gas turbines requiring mineral oil, hydro-turbines and hydraulic systems. Benefits include excellent oxidation resistance, very good water separability, resistance to foaming and air entrainment (important for systems with short residence times), and very good rust and corrosion protection. The range is manufactured under ExxonMobil's Quality Integrity Management System (QIMS). Teresstic T 68 has a kinematic viscosity of 68 mm²/s at 40°C and 8.5 mm²/s at 100°C, a viscosity index of 95, a pour point of -30°C, a flash point of 220°C and a turbine oil stability life (ASTM D943, to 2.0 mg KOH/g) of 3500 hours. It meets or exceeds DIN 51515-1:2010-02 and JIS K-2213 Type 2.
