Manufacturer's description

Eni Blasia BM 320 is a special gear oil with EP characteristics formulated with sulphur and phosphorus compounds to deliver a robust protection from wear in every condition of high or slow speeds and high loads or shock loads. The product contains a colloidal dispersion of molybdenum disulfide that improves the oil film resistance in the presence of very high pressures, hence preventing the direct metal-to-metal contact that can result in serious wear damage (scuffing). Eni Blasia BM 320 is particularly recommended to lubricate chains, wires, tracks and spur gears with a high reduction ratio, and worm gears where sliding friction and very high operating temperatures can occur.

Applications

  • Special EP gear oil formulated with sulphur and phosphorus compounds, providing robust wear protection at both high and low speeds, under high loads or shock loads.
  • Contains a colloidal dispersion of molybdenum disulfide that improves oil-film resistance at very high pressures, preventing direct metal-to-metal contact that can cause serious wear damage (scuffing).
  • Particularly recommended for lubricating chains, wire ropes, tracks and spur gears with a high reduction ratio, and worm gears where sliding friction and very high operating temperatures can occur.

Performance & benefits

  • Protects lubricated components during operation thanks to a robust anti-wear additive system.
  • Withstands high operating temperatures (up to 100/110 °C) thanks to very good antioxidant properties.
  • Non-corrosive towards gaskets and seals as well as metals such as steel, cast iron, copper and bronze.
  • Separates quickly from water that may accidentally enter the system, thanks to outstanding demulsifying capacity.
  • Consistently reduces vibration and noise.
