Divinol HLP-D ISO 46 ZF is a zinc-free ("ZF") hydraulic oil of the HLPD type in ISO viscosity grade 46, with article number 48720, meeting DIN 51 524 part 2 HLP. HLPD hydraulic oils contain detergent and dispersant additives in addition to the anti-wear, anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation package of a standard HLP oil. They keep small quantities of water and solid contaminants finely dispersed and carry them to the filter, which helps keep valves and components clean; this makes them a typical choice for machine tools and other hydraulic units exposed to condensation or coolant ingress. The zinc-free, ash-free formulation is preferred where the equipment manufacturer requires it.
