Shell Rimula R3+ 30 is an SAE 30 monograde oil for older diesel engines and stationary equipment. Its active detergent system is designed to keep pistons and other engine parts clean, protect against wear and prevent deposits. It carries Mercedes-Benz approval 228.0, meets MAN 270, MTU Category 1 and API CF, and is suitable for use with biodiesel at the oil drain intervals recommended by the engine maker. Typical viscosity is 93 mm²/s at 40 °C and 11 mm²/s at 100 °C.
