Eni OTE 100

Mineral steam turbine oil with high demulsibility

Business customers only. We sell wholesale, invoiced to registered companies.

Standards & approvals

  • Air compressor oil VCL — DIN 51506

Class VCL of DIN 51506, with tighter oxidation and coking requirements than VBL, for discharge temperatures up to about 160 °C.

  • Industrial gear oil CL — DIN 51517, part 2

CL oils, additised against oxidation and corrosion but without extreme-pressure additives.

  • Hydraulic oil HL — DIN 51524, part 1

HL oils, additised against oxidation and corrosion without antiwear protection, for low pressures.

  • ASTM D4304 Type I — mineral turbine oil

The American standard for turbine oils; Type I: inhibited mineral oils with high oxidation stability and rapid water separation.

Manufacturer's description

Eni OTE 100 is a lubricant intended in particular for steam turbines. It is formulated with a high quality base oil and additives chosen specially to deliver excellent thermal and oxidation resistance and a high demulsibility, which lets water separate rapidly from the oil.

Applications

  • Designed for hydraulic-turbine applications; based on high-quality base stocks with specially chosen additives for excellent thermal-oxidative stability and outstanding demulsibility, letting water separate readily from the oil.

Performance & benefits

  • Prolongs oil charge life, extending relubrication intervals
  • Ensures a good lubricating film
  • Increases turbine operation reliability
  • Maximizes water-removal system efficiency
  • Meets most major turbine-equipment builder and industry specifications
