eni Aster TA/E is formulated specifically for machining alloy steels and non-ferrous metals on machine tools built by Davenport, Gildemeister, Tornos, Index and others, and can also be used for gear cutting on Gleason machines. It is approved for grinding operations on Kapp machines.

Applications

• Mineral cutting oil, free of chlorine.
• Recommended for grinding operations, including severe (roughing) grinding.
• Also suited to medium-severity metal-cutting operations such as milling, turning, drilling and threading on cast iron, medium-alloyed steels, stainless steels, aluminium and yellow alloys.
• Can be used for hobbing gear cutting on high-machinability steels.
