Manufacturer's description

eni Aquamet 700 HP ECO is a multifunctional cutting fluid with excellent technological properties, free of chlorine, boron, secondary amines and bactericide. It delivers excellent performance under medium and severe duty in operations such as turning, milling and drilling, and in severe operations such as threading, deep drilling and thread rolling. It is also suitable for boring with Mapal tools. It can be used on ferrous materials, aluminium and its alloys, titanium and its alloys, in single-machine or centralised plants. It can also be used on yellow metals. A notable characteristic of the product is its low foaming tendency in soft or hard water, even at high working pressures.

Applications

  • Multi-purpose cutting fluid with excellent technological features, free of chlorine, boron, secondary amines and bactericides.
  • Guarantees excellent performance in medium-severe and severe operations such as turning, milling, boring, threading, deep drilling, tapping and reaming with 'Mapal' tools.
  • Suited to operations on all ferrous materials, aluminium, titanium and their alloys, and yellow metals, in both single and centralised systems.
  • Guarantees a low tendency to form foam in both soft and hard water, even under high delivery pressure.

Performance & benefits

  • Carefully protects operators and the working environment, thanks to the absence of secondary amines and biocides.
  • Excellent cutting, cooling and lubricating capacity, for a long service life and excellent workpiece surface finishing.
  • Excellent emulsion stability, reducing maintenance operations.
  • Low foaming tendency, even under high delivery pressure.
  • Suited to a wide range of water hardness (optimal range: 10–50°F).
  • Free of chlorine and boron, for lower disposal costs.
