Manufacturer's description

PETRONAS Tutela Axle 700 EHD SAE 75W-90 is a premium fully synthetic axle fluid that delivers extended drain intervals and total protection, even in the most severe conditions, for today's transmissions, axles, transaxles, differentials and final drives over their entire service life. It is a Total Driveline Lubricant (TDL), recommended for both gearboxes and axles requiring SAE J2360 or API GL-4 / GL-5 / MT-1, and its wide coverage of major manufacturer specifications makes it suitable for virtually all heavy-duty transmissions. The fluid improves fuel economy through optimised transmission efficiency and a wider operating temperature range that reduces energy losses. Exceptional thermal and oxidation stability keeps viscosity constant and prevents deposits and sludge, while enhanced shear stability maintains film strength throughout the oil's life. Excellent anti-wear, extreme pressure (EP) and anti-pitting performance protects gears and bearings under severe loads, and outstanding low-temperature viscosity ensures smooth start-up and comfortable shifting in cold weather. Approved by Daimler, MAN, Meritor, Scania, Volvo and ZF, it meets SAE J2360, API GL-4/GL-5/MT-1 and MIL PRF-2105E, and carries approvals including MAN 341 Type Z2 / 342 Type S1, DTFR 12B140 (MB 235.8), Meritor O76N, Scania STO 1:0 / 2:0A FS, Volvo 97312 and ZF TE-ML 02B, 05A, 07A, 12L, 12N, 16B, 16F, 17B, 19C, 21A. One product for both gearbox and axle reduces the risk of misapplication and simplifies inventory management.

Applications

  • Its wide coverage of major manufacturer specifications, backed by extensive bench and field testing, makes it suitable for use in virtually all heavy-duty transmissions.
  • A Total Driveline Lubricant (TDL), recommended for both gearboxes and axles requiring SAE J2360 or API GL-4/GL-5/MT-1.
  • Meets the stringent requirements of most OEM transmissions and is approved by Daimler, MAN, Meritor, Scania, Volvo and ZF.

Performance & benefits

  • Enhances your business profits and vehicle availability while significantly reducing operating costs, through fuel-economy performance driven by optimised transmission efficiency.
  • A wider operating-temperature range that helps reduce operational energy losses.
  • Delivers an extended drain interval and transmission life through exceptional thermal and oxidation stability at high temperature, providing viscosity stability and preventing deposit and sludge formation, prolonging oil life even under severe conditions.
  • Enhanced shear stability for constant film strength and effective lubrication throughout the oil's service life, protecting all moving parts.
  • Excellent anti-wear, extreme-pressure (EP), anti-pitting, gear and bearing protection under severe conditions, extending component life.
  • Extends transmission-fluid life and prevents fluid breakdown at higher operating temperatures, for total transmission protection, and reduces inventory.
  • Delivers an outstanding driving experience through exceptional low-temperature viscosity for improved lubrication and shifting comfort during cold-weather start-up.
