eni Rotra MP/S 80W-90 is a special gear lubricant with EP (extreme pressure) and anti-stick-slip characteristics. It is recommended for lubricating the hypoid gearing of plated limited-slip differentials, and for oil-immersed brakes and clutches.
Applications
- Special gear lubricant with EP (Extreme Pressure) and anti-stick-slip characteristics.
- Suitable for the lubrication of hypoid gears in limited-slip differentials and of axles with wet brakes and clutches.
Performance & benefits
- Special EP additivation guarantees continuity of the lubrication film even when gears operate under particularly heavy, dynamic impulse loads with very high, intermittent sliding speeds between teeth.
- An anti-slip additive modifies the friction coefficient to prevent vibration in the limited-slip differential's clutch mechanism and in the oil-immersed brakes used on tractors.
- Antiwear properties and strong lubricity considerably reduce gear and bearing wear.
- Particular oxidation stability avoids oil deterioration at high temperatures and effectively counters the tendency to increase viscosity and form sludge.
- Strong antirust properties protect gears and supports even in the presence of moisture.
- Strong antifoam additivation eliminates the negative effects that excessive foam formation would have on the continuity of the lubricant film.
