eni Rotra MP DB 85W-90 is a gear lubricant with EP (extreme pressure) characteristics. It is recommended for gearing that transmits very high torque, hypoid gearing included, subject to dynamic loads and used in particular in differentials.
Applications
- Gear lubricant with special EP (Extreme Pressure) characteristics.
- Suitable for use in highly loaded torques, including hypoids, subject to dynamic loads and particularly in differentials.

- Demanding EP characteristics protect contact surfaces even under exceptionally heavy load and sliding conditions.
- Antiwear properties and strong lubricity considerably reduce gear and bearing wear.
- Particular oxidation stability avoids oil deterioration at high temperatures and effectively counters the tendency to increase viscosity and form sludge.
- Not corrosive to steel, copper or other metals and alloys, helping to keep lubricated parts efficient.
- Strong antirust properties protect gears and supports even in the presence of moisture.
- Strong antifoam additivation eliminates the negative effects that excessive foam formation would have on the continuity of the lubricant film.
