eni Rotra HY 80W-90 is a transmission lubricant with EP (extreme pressure) characteristics, for use in manual gearboxes and differentials, final drives and power transmission units of agricultural and construction machinery.
Applications
- EP (Extreme Pressure) transmission lubricant for use in transmission units, particularly manual and differential transmissions including transaxle configurations.
- Also suitable for end-gear reducers and power take-off gears on agricultural and earthmoving machines.
Performance & benefits
- Special EP additives allow the product to protect gear and bearing surfaces even under high specific loads.
- Correctly balanced antiwear and lubricity characteristics ensure the best synchronizer operation, even under severe conditions such as frequent gear changes in city traffic.
- Particular oxidation stability avoids oil deterioration at high temperatures and effectively counters the tendency to increase viscosity and form sludge.
- Not corrosive to steel, helping to keep lubricated parts in efficient condition.
- Strong antirust properties prevent corrosion of gears even in the presence of moisture.
