Manufacturer's description

Eni Grease PHT is a multipurpose mineral-based grease thickened with polyurea and containing an EP (extreme pressure) additive. The polyurea gives the grease a very high dropping point and makes it particularly suitable for prolonged use at high temperatures without hardening. Eni Grease PHT is recommended for lubricating plain and rolling bearings exposed to water washout, under severe working conditions and subject to heavy loads and impacts. It is therefore ideal in metallurgy, in centralised continuous casting and rolling mill plant, and in rotary kilns and machinery exposed to high temperatures in the ceramics, glass, paper and cement industries.

Applications

  • Recommended for lubricating flat and rolling bearings exposed to water washout, operating in severe conditions and subject to heavy loads and impacts.
  • Ideal for metallurgy, centralized continuous-casting and rolling-mill plants, and for rotary kilns and machinery exposed to high temperatures in the ceramics, glass, paper and cement industries.

Performance & benefits

  • High dropping point thanks to its polyurea thickener, suitable for prolonged use at high temperatures without hardening
  • Excellent oxidation and thermal stability, allowing extended relubrication intervals
  • High water washout resistance
  • High adhesion to surfaces
  • Good compatibility with plastics
