Manufacturer's description

Eni Blasia FMP 150 is a high performance lubricant for gears working under the extreme pressure (EP) conditions found in the latest generation of industrial reduction gearboxes. Eni Blasia FMP 150 is recommended in particular for the circulation or splash lubrication of every type of enclosed gear operating under high mechanical loads, high speeds, high sliding friction and possible high operating temperatures. Eni Blasia FMP 150 is also recommended for lubricating other heavily loaded components such as couplings, screw drives, and plain and rolling bearings at low speeds. It can also be used in oil-spray lubrication systems.

Applications

  • High-performance lubricant for gears operating under extreme-pressure (EP) conditions typical of the latest generation of industrial reducers.
  • Particularly recommended for circulation or splash lubrication of all types of enclosed gears, especially under heavy loads, high speeds, high sliding friction and possible high operating temperatures.
  • Also suitable for lubricating other heavily loaded parts and components such as couplings, transmission screws, low-speed plain and rolling bearings, and oil-mist lubrication systems.

Performance & benefits

  • Minimizes deposit and sludge formation thanks to exceptional thermo-oxidative resistance.
  • Can be used at high operating temperatures (up to 120 °C).
  • Provides robust protection against wear (passes FZG stage 12) and, notably, against micropitting.
  • Non-corrosive towards gaskets and seals as well as metals such as steel, cast iron, copper and bronze.
  • Separates quickly from water that may accidentally enter the system, thanks to outstanding demulsifying capacity.
  • Antifoam properties ensure continuity of the oil film.
