Eni OSO PM 46 is a special ashless, high quality hydraulic oil formulated with selected paraffinic base stocks treated with antirust, antioxidant and antiwear additives.

Applications

• Expressly developed for Müller Weingarten presses used for stamping and shearing sheet steel.
• Its balanced additive package also makes it suitable for applications with oil-bath clutches.

Performance & benefits

• Extremely good oxidation resistance even under high thermal stress; minimizes sludge and deposit formation
• Outstanding anti-corrosion and anti-rust properties, inhibiting oxidation of the internal surfaces of hydraulic circuits
• Good demulsibility, preventing a stable emulsion from forming between the oil and any water entering the system through leakage or condensation
• Very high filterability, even in the presence of water; suitable for very fine filters (3 microns)
