The eni OSO D oils are recommended for hydrodynamic power transmission in machinery of all kinds and in hydrostatic systems across many sectors — transport, construction and mining, as well as chemical and steelworks plant, machine tools, marine and aviation equipment — wherever an anti-wear hydraulic fluid is called for and there is at the same time a risk of contamination by water and impurities. Eni OSO D 46 (ISO VG 46) has a viscosity index of 105 and a flash point of 228°C, and a pour point of -27°C. The Romanian data sheet reports that the ISO VG 46 oil passes FZG load stage 12 and shows a total pump wear of about 66 mg in the Vickers test.

Applications

• Detergent/dispersant hydraulic oil designed for hydraulic systems particularly sensitive to contamination from water and impurities; formulated with high-quality base stocks and a unique additive package for excellent antiwear, anti-rust and antioxidant properties.
• Can also be used in all hydrodynamic power-transmission machinery on machine tools.
