Standards & approvals

  • Hydraulic oil, type H HV — ISO 11158

Class HV of ISO 11158: an antiwear hydraulic oil with a high viscosity index, for systems exposed to wide temperature swings.

  • Hydraulic oil HVLP — DIN 51524, part 3

HVLP oils, with the HLP additive package and a high viscosity index, for a wide temperature range.

  • Hydraulic oil HLP — DIN 51524, part 2

HLP oils, mineral oils with oxidation, corrosion and antiwear additives; the most quoted reference in industrial hydraulics.

  • Hydraulic oil, type H HM — ISO 11158

The international standard for mineral hydraulic fluids; class HM is the antiwear oil, the ISO counterpart of DIN 51524-2 HLP.

Manufacturer's description

Eni Arnica TP 46 is a hydraulic oil formulated with high quality base oils and ashless additives, intended in particular for ceramic industry presses. The product meets specification SACMI 200.02..A01 (2013) as a type 18 oil, for the hydraulic circuits of ceramic presses.

Applications

  • High-viscosity-index hydraulic fluid formulated with high-quality base oils and innovative ashless additive technology.
  • Specially developed for ceramic-industry presses, meeting the needs of modern hydraulic systems for mobile and industrial machinery operating in severe conditions, with high thermal, oxidative and hydrolytic stability.
  • Dispersant properties keep filters clean in operation, while excellent demulsifying properties allow prompt water separation.
  • Also suited to outdoor equipment operating across a wide temperature range, such as machinery with frequent cold starts and/or high operating temperatures (marine applications).
  • Can be used for oil-bath or circulation lubrication of components such as plain bearings, rolling bearings, crank mechanisms, joints and unloaded gears.

Performance & benefits

  • Long-term performance guaranteed by very high oxidation resistance.
  • Prevents filter clogging, thanks to detergent and dispersant properties.
  • Very good viscosity stability and performance guaranteed even at extremely cold temperatures, thanks to a high viscosity index.
  • Prompt water separation, thanks to optimal demulsifying properties.
  • Optimal protection of lubricated components from mechanical wear, for improved operating efficiency.
  • Rapid removal of entrapped air, guaranteed by very good anti-foam properties.
