Manufacturer's description

Eni Arnica 68 is a high performance anti-wear hydraulic oil, formulated specifically to meet the demands of high-pressure hydraulic systems, both industrial and mobile. It is formulated with selected base oils and a low-zinc additive package, which deliver excellent antioxidant properties and thermal and hydrolytic stability. Eni Arnica 68 is recommended for equipment working across a wide temperature range in the open — machines started at low temperatures and run at high ones (marine applications). It is also recommended for indoor equipment whose control systems require the viscosity to change little with temperature.

Applications

  • High-performance anti-wear hydraulic oil, specifically designed for the needs of modern high-pressure industrial and mobile-equipment hydraulic systems.
  • Formulated with selected base oils treated with 'low-zinc' technology, ensuring excellent thermal, oxidative and hydrolytic stability.
  • Recommended for outdoor equipment operating across a wide temperature range, such as systems with cold start-up and high operating temperatures (marine applications).
  • Also suited to indoor equipment with control systems that need minimal viscosity change with temperature.

Performance & benefits

  • Suited to applications operating across a wide temperature range, thanks to a high viscosity index and excellent viscosity stability.
  • Suitable for hydraulic systems with very fine filters (3 microns).
  • Prolongs oil service life and re-lubrication intervals, thanks to very high thermo-oxidative stability.
  • Protects hydraulic pumps and components, thanks to outstanding anti-wear properties.
  • Helps prevent aeration and cavitation damage in low-residence-time systems, thanks to rapid air release.
  • Compatible with a wide variety of component metallurgy.
  • Maximises the efficiency of water-removal systems, thanks to excellent demulsibility.
