Standards & approvals

  • Hydraulic oil, type H HL — ISO 11158

Class HL of ISO 11158: a mineral hydraulic oil additised against oxidation and corrosion but without antiwear protection — for low-pressure systems.

  • NF E 48-603 type HL

Class HL of the French standard: a hydraulic oil additised against oxidation and corrosion, without antiwear protection.

  • Industrial gear lubricant CKB — ISO 12925

Class CKB of ISO 12925-1: a mineral oil with antioxidant and anticorrosion additives but no extreme-pressure package, for lightly loaded gear units.

  • ANSI/AGMA 9005-E02 (2002)

The 2002 edition of the AGMA enclosed gear drive lubrication practice, superseded by F16 of 2016.

Manufacturer's description

Eni Acer 46 is a lubricant for circulation systems and hydraulic circuits that call for anti-rust and antioxidant properties. Eni Acer 46 is recommended in particular for lubricating plain and rolling bearings, crank mechanisms and toothed couplings that need no anti-wear or EP properties, and for joints and wet clutches outside automotive use.

Applications

  • Lubricant for circulation systems, oleodynamic circuits and air compressors, where anti-rust and antioxidant properties are required.
  • Particularly recommended for lubricating plain and rolling bearings, crank mechanisms and gear couplings not requiring anti-wear or EP performance.
  • Also suited to joints and wet clutches not intended for automotive use.

Performance & benefits

  • Quick separation from any water that may accidentally enter the system, thanks to excellent demulsifying capacity.
  • Effective protection against rust and corrosion.
  • Continuity and incompressibility of the oil film, ensured by fast anti-foam action and air release.
  • Compatible with the rubber types commonly used for seals.
