Manufacturer's description

Divinol Bio-Hydraulik is a synthetic, biodegradable hydraulic oil based on saturated esters that combines the modern requirements for environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids in one product. It is made from renewable resources, is biodegradable according to OECD 301B, is zinc-free and carries the EU Ecolabel "Euromargerite" (UK/27/010) as well as the Austrian Ecolabel. The oil offers high performance in terms of ageing, corrosion and wear protection, together with a wide temperature range and well-balanced viscosity behaviour. Its synthetic character prevents gumming and deposits from thermal ageing at higher operating temperatures. Further benefits include higher power reserves than conventional hydraulic oils, extended service life, excellent viscosity-temperature behaviour, good low-temperature properties and compatibility with seals. As an ISO VG 46 that also covers ISO 32 and ISO 68, it simplifies stock management. Divinol Bio-Hydraulik is used in hydraulic systems in forestry, construction and engineering in environmentally sensitive areas, such as harvesters, excavators, trucks in water protection zones, fork lifts, telescopic loaders, cranes, compressors and weir hydraulics. It exceeds DIN ISO 15380 HEES and meets VDMA 24568, DIN 51524-2/-3 (excluding wet ISO 4263-1) and Swedish Standard SS 15 54 34. Systems previously run on mineral oil must be drained and flushed thoroughly (do not mix); follow VDMA 24569 and OEM instructions.

Applications

  • Hydraulic systems in forestry, construction and engineering in environmentally sensitive areas
  • Harvesters and other forestry machinery
  • Excavators and trucks operating in water-protection areas
  • Forklifts, telescopic loaders and cranes
  • Compressors
  • Water-weir hydraulics
  • When switching from mineral hydraulic oil, flush the system completely first and do not mix the two oils
  • Follow VDMA 24569 and/or the OEM's instructions when converting to a biodegradable hydraulic oil
