Eni MX 5212 is recommended for blending high performance HDDO when formulated with the appropriate base stocks and Viscosity Modifier. Eni MX 5212 can be used alone or with a specific booster (Eni MX 5616A) to have a cascade system. Its flexibility allows different solutions even towards lower level performance lubricants and PCMOs. Grade SAE formulations covered: 10W-30, 10W-40, 15W-40, 15W-50, and 20W-50. Grades from 15W-40 are fully obtained with Group I base stocks.

Applications

• Recommended for blending high-performance Heavy Duty Diesel Oils (HDDO) when formulated with the appropriate base stocks and viscosity modifier.
• Can be used alone or with a specific booster (Eni MX 5616A) as a cascade system.
• SAE grades covered: 10W-30, 10W-40, 15W-40, 15W-50, 20W-50 (from 15W-40 upward, fully obtained with Group I base stocks); treat rates from 1.80% wt (API SB/CB) up to 6.95% wt plus 1.2% MX 5612A (API CF-4/SM).
